After a rich and energy filled discussion on the energy and frequency of emotions with a client about the energy and frequency of emotions, I felt a strong urge to share these insights and create this blog post. And yes, you read that correctly—I chose to work on a long weekend. One of the great joys of working for myself is the freedom to choose when I work, turning work into an enriching passion and a get to, rather than a chore and a have to. 🧘‍♀️✨

Did you know that everything has a frequency?

Vibrational frequency refers to the rate at which energy oscillates or vibrates. Everything in the universe, whether tangible or intangible, emits a unique vibrational frequency. This frequency is the essence of life itself. The universal Law of Vibration is the  basis for understanding how vibrational frequency plays such a crucial role in our lives. 

As an individual, you emit your own vibrational frequency. Your thoughts, emotions, beliefs and actions all contribute to this frequency. The collective energy of these elements defines your personal vibrational signature, which interacts with the world around you.

The world is an ensemble of energetic frequencies. Our heartbeat, a constant reminder of life, beats with a regular frequency. Sound waves, from the soothing tones of a favourite song to the majestic harmony of birds. Light waves illuminate our world with their varied frequencies, creating the vibrant spectrum of colours we see. Even technology, from the hum of a computer to the transmission of Wi-Fi signals, rely on distinct frequencies. The natural world dances to its own frequencies — the ebb and flow of the ocean tides, the Schumann resonance of the earth, the cycles of the moon, and the changing seasons.

Our emotions also have a frequency. Emotions are an integral part of the human experience. They can lift us up to the highest peaks of joy and love or pull us down into the depths of despair. Your emotions are powerful indicators of your vibrational frequency

Each emotional experience emits a vibrational frequency. Positive emotions like joy, love, gratitude, and passion are associated with high vibrational frequencies, uplifting and energising us. Emotions like fear, anger and despair resonate at lower frequencies, which can weigh us down and drain our energy. When you experience positive emotions, your vibrational frequency is elevated, aligning you with your true self and desires. Negative emotions indicate misalignment with your inner being.

All matter and energy are in constant motion - including our emotions. Remember emotion = energy in motion.

Being aware of this dynamic allows you to take control of your emotional state, while consciously choose thoughts and actions that elevate our emotions.

The Emotional Guidance Scale introduced by Abraham-Hicks, is an essential element I explore deeply with clients and myself (yes, I often have deep and meaningful conversations with myself). This scale is designed to recognise and shift our emotional & physiological state and their associated vibrational frequency to gently guide us towards higher, more positive states of being.

How to Use the Emotional Guidance Scale

Identify Your Current Emotion by taking a moment to reflect on what you are feeling in the present moment. Are you feeling hopeful, frustrated, or perhaps even joyful?

Acknowledge and Accept your current emotion without judgment. The first step towards emotional change is recognising and accepting how you feel.

Elevate your mood/thoughts. If you are feeling low, aim to move up the scale incrementally. For instance, if you are feeling discouraged, try to find thoughts that bring you to a state of contentment or hopefulness.

 

 

Are you on the up spiral or down spiral?

Emotions can lead us on powerful journeys, frequently moving in spirals. When we feel good, it is much easier to stay positive and attract more positive experiences, creating an upward spiral. On the other hand, emotions with a lower vibration create a downward spiral, where one negative thought leads to another, pulling us deeper into lower vibrational states.

Everything in this universe, including us as human beings, moves in circles, in spirals. Our emotions can lead us on powerful journeys within the jungle of life. 🌳🐆

They can lift us up or pull us down with their fluidity and frequency. By being mindful of your emotional state, you can gently and courageously guide yourself towards the upward spiral of joy, love, passion & positivity. Understanding the frequency of emotions and knowing they have the ability to lift us up or pull us down with their fluidity and frequency can be empowering.

Life is about making small, conscious choices each day such as practicing gratitude, focusing on what brings you joy and surrounding yourself with people who hold a high vibration to support you as you shift your frequency upwards.

Paying attention to your emotions is crucial because they provide valuable feedback about your vibrational state. If you are feeling joy, it is a sign that you are in sync with your higher self and on the right path. If you experience fear or doubt, this often indicates that you are not in harmony with your true desires and may need to make changes in your life.

Your emotional guidance system can serve as a decision-making tool. When faced with choices, consider how each option makes you feel. If a particular choice brings you joy and excitement, it is likely in alignment with your higher self. If it evokes fear or discomfort, it might be best to reconsider.

Take a moment to check in with yourself from this moment onwards. Reflect on where you are on the Emotional Guidance Scale.

Are you moving towards the emotions that uplift you and inspire you?

Your vibrational frequency and emotional guidance system are intimately connected, shaping your experiences and influencing your path in life. By understanding this connection and actively working to raise your vibrational frequency, you can align with your true self, manifest your desires, and lead a more fulfilling life.

Remember that your emotions are your compass, every step towards a higher frequency is worth celebrating with yourself and the universe. Every emotion, even if only felt for a short amount of time contributes to a higher overall frequency and a more enriching existence. Use them as a tool for self-awareness and personal growth, and watch as your vibrational frequency transforms your reality into a more joyful, harmonious, and abundant existence.

I encourage you to embrace this journey with an open heart and a curious mind.

Welcome your emotions (even the uncomfortable ones) and allow them to be your guide as you navigate the enchanting subtleties of life. You have the power to choose your emotional state and to direct your life towards greater joy, love and harmony.
