I am currently typing this blog with the biggest smile on my face and in my heart as I started making some notes about what I was going to share yesterday about embracing the flow of plenty, I was guided to hold off on typing and posting until this morning. I soon realised why... The magical opening of the Lions Gate Portal peaks today on the 8/8.

The portal is seen as a time when high-frequency energies are available to those who are open to receiving them.

The Lion's Gate is a powerful time to set clear intentions, release old patterns & limiting beliefs and welcome new beginnings. The energy of Leo, with its themes of courage, self-expression and leadership, empowers us as individuals to step into the pure potential we all hold within.

I open my heart and soul to the infinite abundance of the universe. I align with the divine light of Sirius and courageously step into my true power.

This mindset can lead to feelings of self-doubt, unsureness, a competitive nature and sometimes a sense of isolation. When we operate from a place of scarcity, we may conceal what we have, fearing loss which creates a self-fulfilling cycle where we actually experience lack and limitation.

The scarcity mindset manifests in various ways. It can be extremely cunning and show up as jealousy when others succeed, reluctance to share our knowledge or resources or a constant worry about the future. This fear-based thinking can trap us in a cycle of lack, where we are unable to recognise or appreciate the abundance that already exists in our lives.

Abundance, on the other hand, is the belief that there is more than enough for everyone. It is rooted in trust and a deep sense of gratitude. An abundance mindset allows us to see opportunities instead of obstacles, to feel connected rather than isolated and to share freely rather than stashing secretly. A mindset f abundance is about recognising the richness of life in all its forms—love, health, joy and yes, even material wealth.

Acknowledge these feelings without judgment, understanding that they are a natural part of the human experience. Reflect on how these thoughts have influenced your actions and decisions.

Take some time to journal about your beliefs around scarcity. What messages did you receive growing up about money, success, and happiness? How have these beliefs shaped your current reality? By bringing these thoughts to light, you can begin to challenge and reframe them.

Wild Lesson: A pivotal moment in my life came when I attended one of my first personal development workshops. During a guided meditation, I soon realised how deeply my scarcity mindset had taken root. I began journaling about my fears & limiting beliefs while acknowledging the impact they had on my life. This newfound awareness was the first step in my journey toward abundance.

Gratitude is a powerful practice and antidote to scarcity. By focusing on all that we have rather than what we lack, we open ourselves to receiving even more. Start a daily gratitude practice. Each morning or evening list at least 3-5 things you are grateful for. Over time, this practice can shift your focus from what you lack to the abundance that surrounds you.

Wild Lesson: There was a time in my life when I felt stuck and overwhelmed. I  constantly focused on what I didn’t have, and this scarcity mindset was impacting my happiness and relationships. During a particularly challenging period, a dear friend suggested I start a gratitude journal. At first, I was hesitant, doubting that such a simple practice could make a difference so I decided to give it a try. Every evening before bed, I began to write down 3-5 things I was grateful for that day. In the beginning, it was difficult to find things to be grateful for. But I persisted, jotting down small things like a beautiful sunset, a kind word from a colleague or a delicious and nourishing meal.

As the days turned into weeks, something truly magical started to occur. I noticed that my mindset was gradually shifting. I began to look for things to be grateful for throughout the day, and my list grew longer and longer. I started appreciating all the little moments of joy, love and beauty that I would have previously overlooked. One day, during a particularly challenging project, I felt overwhelmed. Rather than succumbing to the negativity, I took a moment to pause and reflect on all that I was grateful for in that moment. I was grateful for the supportive team I was working with, the opportunity to learn and grow through this project, and the cup of peppermint tea that provided a moment of calm.

Over time, my gratitude practice evolved and shifted my outlook on life. It is a practice that I cherish and look forward to each day. A practice that allows me to fee and be more content, courageous & connected to the abundance around me. Gratitude opened my heart and mind to the endless possibilities of abundance, helping me navigate challenges from a place of grace, understanding and compassion.

I also invite you to practice verbally expressing gratitude. Share your appreciation with those around you, whether it’s for a small favour or a significant act of kindness. This not only reinforces your own sense of abundance but also fosters a positive, supportive environment. Gratitude is more than just a feeling; it is a powerful tool that can shift your mindset and open you to the abundance that surrounds you. Embrace it wholeheartedly and allow it to guide you on your journey from scarcity to abundance.

Pay attention to how you consume resources through the practice of mindful consumption. Whether it's food, time or energy. Mindful consumption is about appreciating what you have and using it wisely. This practice helps shift our focus from what we lack to what we have in abundance.

Consider ways to simplify your life and reduce waste. Declutter your living space, prioritise quality over quantity, and make conscious choices about how you spend your time and energy. By valuing and stewarding your resources, you create a sense of sufficiency and gratitude.

Generosity is one of the most profound ways to cultivate a mindset of abundance & prosperity. When we give freely—whether it's our time, our love, or our resources—we reinforce the belief that there is more than enough to go around. Volunteer, support a friend, or donate to a cause you care about.

Acts of generosity don’t have to be grand gestures. Simple acts, like helping a neighbour, sharing a meal or offering a kind word, can create ripples of abundance. As you practice giving, notice how it makes you feel and how it impacts those around you. Generosity creates connection and community, essential elements of an abundant life.    

Wild Lesson: Throughout my life I have shared my time and skills with a variety of charities. The act of giving not only enriched the lives of others but also filled me with a sense of purpose and connection. I realised that abundance was about so much more than just money; it was about contributing to the well-being of my community.

Challenges are a part of life. Choosing to reframe challenges as opportunities can make all the difference. Instead of seeing obstacles as roadblocks, view them as opportunities for growth and learning. This shift in perspective can transform a scarcity mindset into one of abundance.

When faced with a challenge, ask yourself What lesson can I learn from the experience? How can this situation help me grow or develop new skills? By viewing difficulties as stepping stones to success rather than stumbling blocks, you open yourself to new possibilities and insights.

Visualisation is a powerful tool in creating an abundance mindset. Spend time each day visualising success and imagining your life filled with abundance. See yourself thriving in every area—health, relationships, career. This practice can help rewire your brain to recognise and create opportunities for abundance.

Create a vision board that represents your dreams and goals. Fill it with images and words that inspire and motivate you. Place it somewhere you will see it daily as a reminder of the abundance you are attracting into your life. Visualisation helps align your actions with your aspirations, making your dreams more tangible and achievable. Picture yourself achieving your goals, thriving in your relationships, exploring new destinations and experiencing good health.

Wild Lesson: A transformative moment in my journey toward abundance came when I started using affirmations. I will admit was a little skeptical at first, thinking that simply repeating positive statements wouldn’t make much of a difference. This hesitation didn’t hold me back and I decided to give it a try and committed to a 30-day affirmation practice.

Each morning on waking, I would stand in front of the mirror and recite my affirmations out loud. At first, on some days it felt awkward, on other days it was extremely uncomfortable and my inner critic was loud. Day by day, I noticed a shift in my mindset. I was moving from scarcity towards abundance. The affirmations began to feel and sound more natural, and I started to believe in the words I was saying.

One particularly challenging day, when I was feeling overwhelmed and doubtful about my path, I paused and repeated my affirmations. “I am worthy of abundance and prosperity. Opportunities for growth and success are everywhere. I am grateful for the wealth and abundance in my life.” These words grounded me and reminded me of the abundance that was already present in my life.

By the end of the 30 days, I felt a significant change in my outlook. This experience taught me the profound power of affirmations in shifting our mindset and creating a life of abundance.

Wild Lesson: I continually choose to invest in my personal and professional development by taking courses and attending workshops, both in-person and virtually. I read books and listen to pdcasts, continuously expanding my knowledge, passion and skills. This investment in myself has opened up multiple opportunities and will continue to.

Living from a place of abundance is about more than just mindset; it's about embracing the flow of life. It is about trusting that the universe is a generous place and that we are worthy of all its gifts. By shifting from scarcity to abundance, we not only enrich our own lives but also contribute to a more generous and connected world.
