A Journey of Sisterhood, Love and Transformation with the Final Womens Circle of 2024

I recently got home from attending a twilight ceremony—the final women’s circle of the year and was eager to share my experience. This circle was consciously curated by my dear soul sister, mentor and lover of life, Ellencreatrix of the Circle of Life with Ellen.

It was more than just a gathering; it was a sacred space for connection, reflection and reclamation. The theme of this evening was calling back energy and power from the past to create balance and harmony in the present. This balance is the foundation for the future we desire—a future we shape with our words, intentions and energy.

Circle is a place to deeply nourish the heart, body, mind and soul. Each woman brought her unique story, energy and presence, creating a shared experience that was both powerful and deeply meaningful. It reminded me of the beauty in our individuality and the strength in our collective connection.

Circle is a sacred and healing space where women come together to be seen, heard, witnessed and supported. Each woman chooses to enter with her own energy and story, adding a unique thread to the tapestry of the evening.

We began the ceremony by energetically weaving an altar, a focal point that grounded and held our shared intentions including plants, flowers, crystals and other objects that held meaning for each woman that was present. This symbolic act reminded us that while our journeys may differ, our desires for growth, healing and connection unite us.

Of course, no circle would be complete without the nourishment of delicious food. Our tastebuds were delighted by offerings from Mama-P Wholefoods, as always, sensationally scrumptious and filled with the kind of love and care that nourishes both body and soul to a cellular level.

One of the most beautiful aspects of circle is how every woman contributes her own unique light. Some brought quiet reflection, others vibrant energy and others shared raw, unfiltered emotion. Rather than dividing us, these differences enriched the experience, creating a space of profound power and pure potential.

I was especially grateful to be able to gift an extra ticket to a beautiful woman who attended circle for the first time, bringing a sense of openness and curiosity that was inspiring to witness.

Watching her journey through the evening, witnessing her somatic release and emotional transformation during the breathwork practice,
was deeply moving—a powerful reminder of firsts and the healing power of this space.

Her courage to step into something new, and her openness to the experience, was inspiring to witness. It was a gift not only for her but for all of us who shared the space.

This year, I have shared in the world of Wild Wellness with Hannah on the concept of the “Gratitude Garden.” Tonight, that theme wove itself into our ceremony in a profound way. You can find out more about the visiting our gratitude garden within the Wild Woman Gateway.

This is a metaphorical space where we honour the seeds we have planted, the growth we have nurtured and gently release the twisted weeds of self-doubt, limiting belief or old patterns.

This evening in circle, this garden came to life as we reflected on the seeds planted at the start of 2024.

What has flourished?

Are there areas of your life where weeds need to be cleared? What do those weeds represent?

What nourishes you most right now? How can you feed it more intentionally?

Are there any knots—emotional, physical, mental or spiritual—that need untying?

What new seeds are you ready to plant for the year ahead?

For me, this meant pulling out the weeds of doubt and fear and focusing on nurturing the flowers of self-compassion, trust and love.

Some of you may resonate with the imagery of a garden, while others might see this process as untying knots or clearing a path. Whatever metaphor speaks to you, the message is clear: it is a time for the process of letting go of what no longer aligns or serves you as you create space for all that truly nourishes you.

The breath journey was a transformative part of the evening. It was heart-opening, emotionally releasing and deeply energising.

Rather than being a journey of resting—it was about being an active participant as I connected with my inner world and allowed emotions to flow freely, liberating stagnant energy and reclaiming parts of myself that had been suppressed and somewhat scattered.

Breathwork has a way of peeling back layers, revealing the truths we often hide even from ourselves. This evening it helped me reclaim love, light, compassion and power. It reminded me that trust is built when we give ourselves exactly what we need in any given moment.

The collective energy of the circle amplified the experience, creating a container of safety and transformation. The journey for each woman was unique, but the shared space allowed us to witness and support one another in profound ways.

Throughout the evening, one truth kept echoing (loudly yet gracefully) in my heart:

“We live and learn through love. Love is the teacher, the lesson and the journey.”

These words resonated deeply with me.
To live and learn through love means opening ourselves to vulnerability, embracing growth and showing compassion to ourselves and others. It means choosing to see challenges of life
as opportunities to love more deeply.

Every story shared, every tear shed and every word spoken carried the essence of love—love for ourselves, love for each other and love for the journeys we are on. It is through love that we release the weight that is holding us down, reclaim our power and set intentions for the future.

As the ceremony came to a close, I felt a profound sense of peace.

I know that when my head gently lands on my pillow tonight, I will drift into a nourishing sleep, cradled by the loving energy cultivated in the circle.

I will wake up with a radiant energy—a feeling of deep reverence, trust, love and clarity—that will guide me through the rest of 2024 and into 2025.

This final circle of the year was an exquisite reminder of the power of connection, intention and presence. It reaffirmed that we are not merely individuals walking separate paths but interconnected beings capable of profound transformation when we come together. It inspired me to speak from a place of love and understanding and to offer unconditional love to myself and others. A moment of profound clarity emerged as I realised that trust is built by giving ourselves exactly what we need in any given moment. Trusting ourselves is a powerful act of love, one that creates the foundation for trusting others and the universe.

As you reflect on your own experiences of 2024, I incite you to consider these questions to guide your process of release, reclamation and intention-setting:

How have you grown this year?

What seeds will you nurture as you step into the new year?

Are there any weeds—habits, beliefs or relationships—that are ready to be cleared or removed?

How can you honour the unique energy you bring to your community and relationships?

What does it mean for you to live and learn from a place of love and understanding?

How can you actively connect with your inner world in the year ahead?

How can you trust yourself more deeply in the choices you make?

What nourishes you most deeply? How can you prioritise this?

What intentions are you choosing for 2025?

Honour your uniqueness.

Embrace connection.

Trust that you are exactly where you need to be.

May you step into 2025 with a heart full of love, a spirit ready to bloom and the wisdom to trust yourself fully.

I know we will continue to live, learn and love together—because that is where the magic of life truly lives.
