Blooming into October through Letting Go, Letting In and Letting Be
Oct 01, 2025
Spring has sprung here in Australia, and daylight saving is just a few days away. The sun is out, flowers are blooming, and the air feels lighter — like a long-awaited exhale after holding our breath through the cooler months.
Toes peek out of open-toe shoes and sandals, feeling the freedom of warmer days. For those of us who prefer to go barefoot — grounding ourselves in the earth whenever we can — this isn’t new, but it feels extra freeing when the chill lifts and the rain eases.
The change of weather gives me new life. It’s as if nature itself is lovingly whispering, you have made it through another season. Now, it’s time to bloom again.
I am finding freedom in the small moments — the way sunlight filters through leaves, the scent of fresh flowers in the morning and the song of kookaburras greeting the dawn. These gentle details remind me that peace doesn’t always come in grand gestures — sometimes, it’s hidden in simplicity.
I am learning the art of letting go from the trees, watching how they release what no longer serves them without hesitation or resistance. The blossoms remind me that beauty often follows surrender, and the sunlight lingers long enough to say “you made it through another season.”
This month, I am learning to see myself the way nature sees me — imperfectly perfect, cyclical, and ever-evolving. I’m learning that my best looks different each day, and that’s okay. I’m learning to honour my capacity — to say “no” so that I can wholeheartedly say “yes” to what I most need.
What are you ready to release this season?
What does letting go look and feel like in your body?
Freedom can be found in the simplest sensations.
This October, I am learning to see myself the way nature sees me — resilient, cyclical, beautifully imperfect.
I am learning to give my best, knowing that “my best” changes every day. Some days it’s radiant and full of energy; other days it’s quiet, slow, and introspective — and both are enough.
I am honouring my capacity.
I am saying “no” so I can say “yes” to what truly nourishes me.
Where can you choose peace over pressure this month?
What does it mean to give yourself permission to evolve at your own pace?
October carries an energy of balance, beauty and becoming.
As the gentle harmony of Libra gives way to Scorpio’s transformative depth, we’re reminded that balance must coexist with shadow — that growth often requires surrender before renewal.
Pluto stations direct.
Neptune returns to Pisces.
The cosmic tides stir up reflection and realignment, calling us inward to release, recalibrate and rise.
This month reminds us that endings are not failures but openings — clearings that make space for what’s waiting to arrive. Transformation doesn’t have to be rushed; it’s a process of trust, timing, and tenderness.
Choose softness.
Let go with ease.
Create space to receive what aligns with your body, heart, and head.
Give yourself permission to begin again — slowly, intentionally, and with compassion.
When you feel that restless in-between — caught between who you once were and who you’re becoming — pause.
You can’t run the marathon before training for it, and October arrives as a loving reminder that you are closer than you think.
Where in your life are you craving balance, beauty or transformation?
How can you open your heart to opportunity and trust that life is guiding you?
What would it look like to release the pressure and let peace lead the way?
This October, I am choosing to honour women — and men too — those who hold space for softness, strength and sacred becoming.
Those who remind us that the world needs both the quiet nurturers and the courageous truth-tellers; both the dreamers and the doers; both the ones who rise and the ones who rest.
To every woman rebuilding herself piece by piece,
to every man holding safe, supportive space,
to every girl inside us who still believes in her dreams —
this is your reminder that you are both fierce and tender, wild and wise, soft and strong.
This month is for courage, creativity and curiosity.
For walking barefoot on the grass.
For dancing in your kitchen with abandon.
For writing your dreams in the margins of your journal.
For celebrating this version of you — the one who keeps showing up, even when it’s hard, even when it’s messy, even when no one’s watching.
What part of yourself is asking to be celebrated right now?
How can you bring more play, pleasure and presence into your days?
This October invites you to create, to draw, to read something new, to walk outside and breathe in inspiration again.
To make space for courage, growth, healing, hope and love.
To choose your wild and wonderful heart,
to trust the unknown,
to pick up your dreams and hold them with curiosity and care.
Because maybe, just maybe not knowing is part of becoming, and maybe uncertainty is where your truth begins.
How can you soften into trust when things feel uncertain?
What does it mean to honour your own rhythm this season?
You are not behind.
You are right on time.
You are becoming — beautifully, bravely, brilliantly and exactly as you are meant to.
This month, I am focusing on habits that move the needle. The habits that help me reset with intention, reduce distractions, and make space for what matters most.
Habits that connect me to my purpose, not pressure me with productivity because peace will take you further than pressure ever will.
Tiny reminders. Quiet power. Big heart.
Your presence matters.
Your heart matters.
Every gentle step forward is enough.
Transformation and redirection are not signs of failure; they are signs of alignment.
Each small choice toward peace, purpose, or pleasure brings you closer to who you already are.
What small habit could make your days feel more aligned and easeful?
How can you turn an ordinary moment into a magical one today?
Wild Reflections
October invites us to choose peace over pressure —
to open our hearts to opportunity
and to find magic in every moment, even the messy ones.
Let the trees show you how to let go gracefully.
Let the sun remind you to rise after long nights.
Let your breath be your anchor — steady, sacred, and always guiding you home.
When life feels uncertain, remember:
what if not knowing is part of becoming?
What if uncertainty is where your truth begins?
This October, let nature be your teacher.
Trust that every exhale creates space for new beginnings.
Follow your heart and let October guide you closer to your true essence in a season of softness, surrender, and soulful renewal.
What season of growth are you in right now?
Where can you soften instead of striving?
May the last three months of 2025 hold the happiness we have been seeking,
the love we deserve, the dreams we have been cultivating
and the peace of mind we have been searching for.
May we move through October with grace, groundedness and gratitude.
Choosing softness over struggle, presence over perfection and peace over pressure.
