A Soulful Conversation on the Willow Healing Matters Podcast

intuition podcast self-care self-discovery slowing down wild woman musings Mar 18, 2025

A few weeks ago, I was invited to be a guest on the Willow Healing Matters podcast, and I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to share my heart, musings, and wild wisdom with the beautiful Catherine from Willow Healing.

The episode is now live, and I am so excited to bring this juicy, soulful conversation into your life!

🎧 Episode 20: A Wild Womans Intuition

In this episode, Catherine welcomed me as a multi-passionate woman who embodies my divine feminine essence. As a vision therapist for nearly 16 years and an intuitive wellness guide, I work at the intersection of science and soul, blending sensory-motor therapy with deep healing practices. I believe that self-care is the foundation of empowerment, and through my passions, I encourage and guide others to connect with their breath, move with intention and embrace their intuitive knowing.

I lead with my heart and walk through the world barefoot (in as many places as possible), wild and free, showing up as her authentic self—and in doing so, I create a space where others feel safe to do the same.

There is an absolute joy in being invited to take up space in a conversation that flows effortlessly, where words are not pre-planned, but simply emerge—raw and real—like a river carving its way through the land. That’s exactly how it felt to be a guest on the Willow Healing Matters podcast with the beautiful Catherine—a woman whose wisdom, presence, and warmth made this episode feel more like a heart-to-heart than an interview.

Catherine has curated something truly special with Willow Healing Matters—a space where meaningful conversations thrive, stories unfold organically, and wild hearts and wise souls come together to explore healing, self-discovery, intuition, and transformation.

I hope you enjoy listening as much as I loved being part of this beautiful project.

Some podcast hosts prefer to send a list of questions before recording, but this experience was something different—an unscripted, intuitive journey that unfolded moment by moment. I loved every second of it. The way we allowed the conversation to take its own shape, honoring the ebbs and flows, the light and the shadows—it was a true gift to be fully present, to speak from the heart, and to let the wisdom emerge naturally.

We spoke about intuition, self-care, feminine energy and the power of slowing down, but we also explored the importance of reclaiming our own power—how the simple act of honouring ourselves, our inner knowing and our truth can be one of the greatest revolutions of all.

I hope you enjoy listening as much as I loved being part of this beautiful project.

The Willow Healing Matters Podcast is space where diverse ways to empower the soul are explored with people across a wide variety of ages, passions and professions.

In this episode, I dive into a rich and heart-led conversation with Catherine about:

🌲 The power of intuitive connection and why slowing down is an act of radical self-love

🌲 The dance between light and dark, and why embracing our shadows leads to greater clarity

🌲 The Wild Woman Gateway, my soulful learning portal designed for deep healing and transformation

🌲 The balance between masculine and feminine energy—and why flow and grace are just as powerful as strategy and structure

🌲 The importance of honouring the wisdom of the body, from breathwork to natural healing remedies

Whether you are on a healing journey, stepping into your wild woman essence, or simply curious about what it means to live from intuition, this episode will ignite something deep within you.

At one point in the conversation, Catherine asked me about my work as an intuitive wellness guide, and I shared: “Each session I guide looks different depending on the person I’m working with. Being an intuitive wellness guide means that I, too, am intuitively guided. However, the client actually leads where each session may go. It might involve breathwork, rage practices, crying, screaming, or gently connecting to the breath and body. It’s all about finding what needs to be released in that moment.”

Whether you are on a healing journey, stepping into your wild woman essence or simply curious about what it means to live from intuition, this episode will ignite something deep within you.

During our chat, I shared something very close to my heart—my word of the year for 2025: Ignite.

“Ignite is a spark, a calling, an intention to carry throughout the year. It’s about allowing my intuition to guide me, embracing both stillness and fire, and moving forward with grace, passion and authenticity.”

We spoke about the beauty of slowing down—why it is so essential in a world that constantly demands more, more, more. I shared a moment when I realised my plate was too full, my energy drained, my mind scattered. It took a simple yet powerful act—pausing, breathing and creating space for stillness—to reconnect with my intuition.

“In a world that moves so fast, where notifications are buzzing and emails are landing in our inbox on demand, slowing down feels like an almost radical act—yet it is so essential. It’s about creating space to connect with ourselves, with others, and with the deeper rhythms of life.”

Sometimes, the most profound wisdom comes when we finally stop chasing and start listening.

If you are feeling inspired to deepen your connection with yourself, here are some practices that have been transformative for me:

🌀 Breathwork – A direct pathway to presence, clarity and grounding

🌀 Journaling – Letting thoughts flow freely without judgment

🌀 Spending time in nature – The ultimate reset for body, mind and soul

🌀 Body awareness – Noticing sensations and honouring what my body is trying to tell me

🌀 Intentional silence (Noble Silence) – Creating space for intuitive insights to arise

By embracing these practices, I have learned to trust myself more deeply, make decisions from a place of alignment, and create a life that feels wildly, unapologetically my own.

If this episode speaks to you, I invite you to explore more incredible conversations on Willow Healing Matters. Each episode is filled with wisdom, guidance and heartfelt storytelling including a transformative conversation with Chiron Yeng who hosted the workshop where Catherine and I met in real life—a moment of true synchronicity that felt so much more powerful than a virtual meeting culd ever be.

One of the most profound aspects of this conversation was the reminder that we are allowed to take up space. We are allowed to be bold, be too much, be bright, be loud, be fully ourselves.

“Our too-muchness is beautiful—whether we are too loud, too bold, too willing, or too bright. There is so much beauty in unlocking the parts of ourselves we once thought we had to hide.”

For so long, women have been conditioned to diminish our power, to shrink, to be “less” so that others can feel comfortable. But no more.

This conversation is a declaration—an invitation for all of us to own our too-muchness, our wildness, our intuitive gifts.

I am beyond grateful to Catherine for creating a space where this conversation could unfold so organically. It was a joy, a privilege and an absolute honour to be part of the Willow Healing Matters podcast.

Beautiful and brilliant souls I invite you to ignite your intuition, trust your inner knowing, open your heart and keep walking your wild, wondrous path.

If so, Catherine is co-facilitating the From Ordinary to Extraordinary retreat alongside Chiron Yeng (Mentor on Heart-Led Leadership) and the beautiful Tanya Savva (energetic healer, Breathwork Instructor and yoga facilitator) in a few months time. I would have loved to join this transformative retreat in Byron Bay, but unfortunately, I have something on during that time—a long-planned adventure that calls me elsewhere. While I won’t be there in person, I know this is an opportunity not to be missed. The energy, the wisdom and the deep reconnection that will unfold in this sacred space will be nothing short of life-changing. I am grateful to be able to share this retreat with you and to encourage you to step into this experience—especially in the breathtaking surroundings of beautiful Byron Bay, where the ocean meets the sky and the energy of nature holds space for deep healing and transformation. If you feel called to attend, trust that pull—it may be exactly what your soul is seeking.
